Jānis Lazovskis Hello, I am a mathematician living in Riga, Latvia. For the Fall 2024 semester I am mentoring bachelor theses at RTU Riga Business School. My research is in topological data analysis, with a focus on dynamic environments, applications to biology, mathematical neuroscience, and visualizations. I have also served on the board of the Latvian youth seminars 2x2.
Publications Most of my research projects are with the Neuro-Topology group at Aberdeen and the Blue Brain Project at EPFL, and all fall under the broad umbrella of "dynamic topology." My research is broadly summarized by the following keywords: topological data analysis, configuration spaces, persistent homology, stratifications. I support the Cost of Knowledge project.
